Commands you can use

Type these in chat. Anyone can use them, you don't need to be an operator. Typing /trigger and pressing Tab lists them in game too.

.n: toggle night vision — just type it in chat
.p: go into spectator mode (fly, pass through blocks)
.s: back to survival
.save: back up the world now (once every 15 min)
.join creative superflat: go to the flat creative world — own inventory, WorldEdit and /time
.join creative end: go to the creative End — same creative inventory and commands
.join survival: back to survival, right where you left

What's different from normal Minecraft

What you will notice

AFK display

Stand still for five minutes and your name greys out in the player list, so people know you are away.

Coordinates display

Optional readout of your position and facing, just above the hotbar. Off until you turn it on.

Durability warning

Warns you when a tool or piece of armour is about to break, instead of it going mid-fight.

/trigger duraPing — turn it on or off

Graves

Die and your things wait in a grave where you fell, instead of lying on the floor on a five minute timer. Walk back and right-click it to get everything again.

Nether portal coords

Works out where the matching portal goes in the other dimension, so you do not have to.

/trigger nc_inOverworld — standing in the Overworld

Player head drops

Kill another player and their head drops. Trophies.

Protection from mobs

No enderman theft

Endermen cannot pick up and carry off blocks.

Small conveniences

All recipes unlocked

Every recipe is in your book from the start.

Ender chests always drop

Break one with any tool and get the chest back, not eight obsidian.

Glass always drops

Glass and panes drop themselves, no silk touch needed.

Painting picker

Put a painting in a stonecutter to choose exactly which one you get.

Spectator night vision

Night vision while spectating.

/trigger night_vision — toggle it

Good to know

Difficulty is normal, and PvP is on.
Creepers hurt you exactly as normal, but their explosions don't break blocks or destroy dropped items — so they're still dangerous without wrecking what you've built.
You drop your items when you die — but graves mean you can go and collect them, so it's rarely a disaster.
The world is backed up automatically. If something goes badly wrong, say so early — the further back it has to go, the more everyone loses.
Operator tools in use: Chunky, CreeperSafe, LuckPerms, Bluemap, Multiverse Core, Multiverse Inventories, WorldEdit. Normal players can't run these.
Want another datapack added? Ask — it doesn't wipe anything.
